Vern Raburn

Vern Raburn (Director)

As founder of Eclipse Aviation, Vern Raburn not only transformed transportation aviation, but has been the driving force behind the creation of the new "Very Light Jet" (VLJ) industry. Previously, Vern helped shape the course of the information technology revolution. In the mid 1970s he joined Bill Gates as one of the first employees at Microsoft Corporation and was responsible for the company's entry into retail. After Microsoft, he served as Executive VP and General Manager of Lotus Development Corporation, as Chairman and CEO of Symantec Corporation, and as President of the Paul Allen Group. As a pilot he has over 6,500 hours of flight time with multi-engine, instrument, commercial and rotary ratings. Vern also serves on the board of directors of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).
John Dorton

As CEO of Mastercraft Boats since 1999, John Dorton is recognized as one of the top executives in the boating industry. Under his leadership, Mastercraft has become the dominant brand in water ski and wakeboard boats. Prior to becoming CEO, John served as VP of Marketing at Mastercraft. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and is Vice Chairman of the Boat Manufacturer Division (BMD). A water-sport enthusiast, John is a competitive water skier and a Director for both the Water Sports Industry Association and World Wakeboard Association.

Jim serves on a number of Boards of Directors including BUILD, Asurion, Service Source Inc., Memento Press, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, and Southern California Risk Management Associates. He holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA in economics from Dartmouth.

Dr. Ilan Kroo is a renowned aerodynamicist and tenured professor at Stanford University. After receiving his PhD in 1983 from Stanford, Ilan worked in the Advanced Aerodynamics branch of NASA's Ames Research Center. He returned to Stanford to teach and lead research in aerodynamics and multidisciplinary design optimization, including the study of innovative airplane concepts. Stewart Reed

After graduating from Art Center with honors, Stewart Reed joined dune-buggy originator Bruce Meyers to design the phenomenally successful Manx SR. That led to a varied and distinguished career as a design leader. Stewart worked with Chrysler Advanced Design, Toyota's US design studio, Calty Design, and led Prince Corporation's Research and Development team as Vice President of Design. Stewart's current consulting practice, Stewart Reed Design, contributes to concept vehicles for major auto manufacturers.
Troy Lee

Troy Lee took the art of painting custom racing helmets and turned it into Troy Lee Designs (TLD), one of the world's leading motorsports visual design, apparel and riding gear companies. Troy and his team of artists create the helmet designs worn by a Who's Who of racing stars including: Jeremy McGrath, Jeff Ward, Juan Pablo Montoya, Al Unser Jr., Danica Patrick, and Scott Dixon. Besides helmets and race team graphics, Troy has also designed SEMA concept cars for Land Rover, Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai, Mazda, and a custom supermoto bike for Honda. A long-time motocrosser and recent supermoto racer, Troy also serves as a race team owner, event promoter, and video producer.
David Beach
