ICON Aircraft will be participating in the first-ever “Air Mobility Experience” at the world-renowned North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month. Show organizers built the experience to give people a glimpse into the next generation of flight.

As part of the event, ICON pilots will take to the skies above the Motor City in the ICON A5 in “The Show Above the Show.” The award-winning amphibious sport plane will also be on display for the duration of the event alongside other innovators in the air mobility space.

“The future of flying is here, and personal adventure flying is now available to those who want it,” said ICON CEO, Jerry Meyer. “We couldn’t be more excited to present the ICON A5 at this incredible show and to continue to spark people’s imagination regarding the future of flight and air mobility.”

Media Day for the event begins Wednesday, Sept. 14, with the show open to the public from Sept. 17-25.

The Air Mobility Experience will take place above the skies in Downtown Detroit, at Hart Plaza, and in Huntington Place.
