Since 2021, Low Altitude Adventures has been ICON’s membership partner for the New England region. For those interested in sharing the adventure of flying the ICON A5, the group offers several tiers for new members to join.
Starting at $9,000 annually and $1,250 per month, pilots of all skill levels can gain access to A5s located near Boston, Laconia, and Naples, FL. The membership includes access to Low Altitude Adventure’s ICON Authorized flight Instructors and their thousands of hours of local seaplane knowledge.
Specifically, the new pricing tier includes:
- Access to an ICON A5 at 30 hours per calendar year
- Maintenance, avionics, hangar, and concierge service
- Insurance coverage under Low Altitude Adventure’s group policy
After the initial 30-hours, there is the option to purchase 10-hour blocks as needed for pilots looking to enjoy their A5 more often.
Said Peter Roberts, Co-Founder of Low Altitude Adventures: “We’ve found that many pilots may already have an aircraft, but cannot access water or remote areas easily and are looking for an adventure aircraft. Additionally, they aren’t trying to handle the logistics of taking on this responsibility—they just want to have fun and would rather someone like Low Altitude Adventures handle every aspect of aircraft management.”
