A5 aircraft span several configurations. Each configuration has a “MY” designator followed by a configuration year. For example, “MY17” is an aircraft whose design configuration occurred in 2017. Unlike automobiles and their model years, an ICON A5 aircraft with a MY17 designation does not mean it was built in 2017.

The instructions for a MY remain valid for future MYs unless there is another MY instruction identified. It is the maintainer’s responsibility to review the manual to identify the applicable instructions for that MY.

The “MY” designations and corresponding serial numbers are as follows.

Each task will carry a serial number effectivity in its Task Information section as the information becomes available.
