ICON Aircraft’s mission is to accelerate the democratization of personal flight and 3-D mobility. ICON creates consumer-friendly, safe, technologically advanced aircraft that make the adventure of flying more accessible to mainstream consumers.

ICON’s first aircraft is the A5, an amphibious sport plane that fuses outstanding aeronautical engineering with world-class product design and unprecedented safety features. The A5 is the world’s first production aircraft that is spin-resistant, making it arguably one of the safest small aircraft ever created. The A5 has won some of the world’s most prestigious design awards and has inspired a global following.

Lily Hu

Over seventeen years of executive experience in the automotive industry ecosystem, having served as CFO, CEO, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the BoD. Ms. Hu served in C level positions across various fields including vehicle R&D, manufacturing, specialized vehicle production, parts development and manufacturing, automotive dealership groups, automotive finance, and ride-hailing platform operation service management.

Founder and CEO of an automobile financial leasing company and successfully led it to be the national leader within its niche market.

Licensed as ACCA, FCMA, CGMA, and Australia CPA.

Lily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is currently completing a DBA from China Europe International Business School.

Scott Rodenbeck

Joined ICON in 2018 and has been ICON’s top salesperson for the last 7 years. Scott has over twenty-eight years of sales and marketing experience in the aviation, medical device, technology and industrial markets.

Commercial pilot and certified flight instructor, and has single-engine land and sea, multi-engine, and instrument ratings.

Served as both account executive and VP of Sales at Tangent Computer Inc. for 10 years

Led the top reseller team in the nation for Sharn Anesthesia.

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (BSBA) from Indiana University Bloomington.

Director of Quality & Supply Chain

George Jones

More than 35 years of overall aerospace industry experience serving in positions from Quality Analyst, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, and Quality Director.

Overseeing the corporate quality management system platform, corporate insurance, corporate leasing, aircraft safety and warranty, and intellectual property.

Successful execution of phases 1 and 2 of the pursuit of Production Certification (PC) with the FAA

Detailed composite and bonding adhesive experience (Henkel Aerospace, Toray Advanced Composites, and Zodiac Aerospace)

Certified Six-Sigma Green Belt, AS9100 & ISO9001 certified senior auditor

Chief Pilot/Flight Ops Manager

Sean Stamps

Show Bio

Sean Stamps serves as ICON Aircraft’s Chief Pilot. With over 3000 hours TT, over 800 of which are in the ICON A5, Sean is a CFI-I, SES, and Rotorcraft-Helicopter rated pilot who brings a diverse aviation background to ICON. He has flown a number of different military aircraft, including the MV-22, CH-46, T-34, and TH-57. In addition to his time as a pilot-in-command, he also managed the training and currency qualifications for squadron pilots and aircrew, serving as a Safety and Standardization officer.

Sean holds his BS in Aviation Engineering from Ohio State University, with a specialty in Human Factors.

Rodolfo (Rudy) Correa

Over 14 years design and management experience in the aerospace industry

Joined ICON in 2013 and was part of the team responsible for designing, building, and certifying the first production A5

Oversaw successful completion of several high-grossing projects including introduction of the Garmin autopilot system, a 4-blade propeller, and a 60 lbs. gross weight increase

Led the Part 21 Type Certification of the A5-B.

David Remillard

Show Bio

David joined ICON in 2024. He has over 20 years of finance experience in the food manufacturing industry, serving in several leadership roles. David has worked for some of the leading brands in the fresh packaged vegetable space.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo.

A Technical Tour de Force

Combining industry-leading experience in carbon fiber and composite production with state-of-the-art machinery allows ICON to create the ICON A5. The fuselage is built in ICON’s own facility, created and managed to produce the A5.

Execution

Meticulous Attention to Detail

Once internal structural components are bonded in, major composite subassemblies such as the fuselage and wings are ready for paint and bodywork.

Scaling a Commercial Product

ICON has over 400,000 square feet in manufacturing space, allowing us to control the quality of our production process from onset all the way through to final testing. To date, ICON has completed over 100 aircraft.
