Task Instructions
2. Visually inspect all of flap interfacing to the wing hinge points for security, corrosion, and wear.
Note:
Support the aileron with a cradle from below or with a helper.
3. Disconnect outboard aileron pushtube at the trailing edge of aileron and inboard aileron hinge and discard the pushtube hardware. Access to remove is from the inboard side of the aileron.
4. Slide the aileron towards inboard side to remove the aileron off the hinge pins. If necessary, push the aileron upward to slide out. Discard the hardware.
5. Remove 4x bolts from inboard aileron hinge.
6. Remove 2x bolts each from outboard aileron hinge and center aileron hinge.
7. Inspect wing surface for any damage.
8. Inspect aileron ribs for damage.
Verification Method
Aileron has been disconnected from wing.
